Dating back to 1900, the monocle is 9ct gold, while the chain is Edwardian circa 1910 and is rolled gold. 
 
The monocle is suspended from an Albert clasp, and is long enough on the chain to be able to bring to the eye. 
 
The chain links have a hammered detail which adds an extra shimmer without stones.
