This compass pendant necklace seems to be functional... But please don't rely on it for your next hike!
 
This 9ct rose and rolled gold necklace dates back to the 1920s. It has such lovely details, including a chain surround on the top half of the compass, and some beautiful detail on the chain. On both sides there are 3 flattened sections adding texture to the piece.
 
Fastened with an Albert clasp.
